Inspiring

What person or scene inspires me? That is the topic from Chocolate on my Cranium for Wordfull Wednesday today. Hmmmm.... I've had so many thoughts on this the last few days. Abigail Adams came to mind, and so did Benjamin Franklin. But I settled on a scene: the west side of the Teton Mountains. I grew up seeing that scene every day. Well, every clear day. It always brought me a feeling of joy and home and excitement. It still does whenever I get the chance to see it. I don't have a picture, but did find a webcam of the west side. So beautiful!

My only souveneir of my honeymoon (besides my husband) was a bookmark with a picture of the Tetons on it. Yep, very inspiring!

What a nice topic for this week. I agree with both of the people you thought of, and liked your final choice even more. I miss real mountains in general, but the Tetons particularly. Good call, Chica. I like the webcam A LOT.

I know that they are awe inspiring, but I just clicked on the webcam and it's cloudy and looks plain nasty up there. I'm so glad that I already have an image in my mind of what they look like!
I love you Aimee!

I've always loved the Tetons. They have always been one of my very favorite Mtns. Lucky girl to grow up next to them.
