Three Times

My dreams are hardly ever repeated.  In fact, most nights I don't even remember dreaming at all.  But, the other night I had the same dream three times in a row.

Next week I am flying to Minnesota for my brother's wedding.  Just me.  Mr. Wonderful and the kids are staying home.  That in itself is a little mind boggling to me.  And exciting too, I must admit.  But, back to the dream I had three times in a row.

I dreamt that I was at the airport all ready to go to Minnesota, but I had forgotten my driver's license and could not get on the plane.  I tried and tried to call Mr. Wonderful so that maybe, by some miracle, he could find it and bring it to me in time for me to make my flight.  He never answered the phone.

Three times I had to dream this!  I woke up completely stressed.

That morning I started making lists of all the things I need to do before I go, and all the things I need to take with me.  "Remember Driver's License" is written at the very top of my list.  I still get nervous when I think about that dream.  But, for that very reason, I don't think I actually will forget to bring my driver's license.  I don't want to get overly confident though.  Then the dream might come true.  ~SHUDDER~  Let's hope not!

Have you ever had a dream like that?

Sorry about your dream. I've had dreams that have stuck with me, but I can't say that I've had them 3 times in a row.

Traveling without kids? When was the last time that happened? :0)
Have a fun trip!

I come from a long line of 'visionary' women. I've had many dreams that have come true. My husband tells me next time I dream about somebody dying he doesn't want to know. There have been several times when the dream has come true in just a couple of days. It's rather unnerving actually.

I have had dreams that have been very unnerving, but they don't happen very often. Don't worry I will call you the day before and remind you to pack your drivers license. :)

I don't have the same dream more than once but I do regularly have dreams where I am trying to get somewhere and things keep coming up to prevent me from getting there! There must be too many things going on in my life or something!

This really has nothing to do with dreams, except for yours. Don't worry about not having your licence. Been there, done that. You have to go through extra security, but that is it.

Yes! I always have dreams like that before I am going to fly somewhere. Usually about missing my flight though.

Last year I went to my brothers wedding without my husband and children (except my nursing baby.) I stayed in a motel room with my sister (and her baby) and we had a blast! I love my family but once in a while it's good to get a break.

Have a wonderful time.

Yes, I have had dreams that have meaning, and are repeated, and that come true.

Most recent was that I dreamed that my sister called to tell me she was getting married to a guy who had spent some time in Ireland. They were going to go for their honeymoon. Well, I called to tell her about this crazy dream and found out she was considering canceling her mission plans to see what happened with a guy she had started dating. He had been in Ireland while in the service for a short time, and wanted to go back. Anyhow long story short, they got married last week.

I can always tell the difference when I wake from a dream whether its "just a dream" or more than a dream. It just feels different. There was an episode of Nova about dreams that was very interesting--do you have Netflix? It's on the instant play.
